Facilities
The Saddle Club is set in 70 acres of well maintained, stock - proof post and rail fenced paddocks.
The Club boasts:
- 27 good sized stables on the main yard on Loos Road and an additional 12 on the yard at Richmond Road, all with automatic drinking systems.
- Well-schooled quality ponies and horses for hire.
- 55m x 40m indoor arena equipped with 8 arena mirrors and a viewing gallery
- 40m x 20m outdoor arena with seating area and disables access point.
- Cross Country Course with water section, wooded section and a range of inviting, recently refurbished jumps.
- Working Hunter course 86cm (2'.6").
- BS approved show jumps.
- Client rest room and refreshment facilities.
- Car and Lorry Park.

Indoor Arena
The indoor school is one of the best in the area; it is used day-to-day for lessons and by liveries at the Saddle Club to school their own horses. It is also used to host our regular events programme, clinics and is available for private hire for individuals or groups.
Outdoor Arena
We were successful in being awareded funding for the construction of a brand new 40m x 20m outdoor riding school. The arena is up and running equipped with floodlights.
Cross Country Course
Catterick Garrison Saddle Club has a fantastic cross country course which is used for in house events, schooling and tuition; it is also available for individuals, groups and clubs to hire. The XC course is inviting, well maintained and varied; it includes a wooded section, water obsticles and a great range of fences for all abilities. Available for hire.
Working Hunter Course
The Working Hunter Course provides the perfect introduction to cross country fences. It is situated next to the yard and boasts a natural water obsticle. Available for hire.
Car, Trailer and Lorry Parking
The existing parking at the main yard is adequate but gets busy at weekends. In order to improve parking the forthcoming construction of the new outdoor riding school will include new parking areas and a lorry / trailer park for liveries. Note: all vehicles are parked at the owner's risk. Overflow Parking is available a little further down Loo's Rd.
